BigCommerce Headquarters
BigCommerce is an international SaaS company, headquartered in Austin. In 2018, they nearly doubled their office space, occupying over 70,000 square feet. The estimated $2M expansion added more than 150 workstations, collaboration spaces, and training rooms.
ABOUT the PROJECTWhile working in-house as Sr. Designer, I was asked to lead the art direction of the graphics for the new space. Given a blueprint and a budget, I developed a proposal and worked closely with internal creative and facilities teams, an architecture firm, and third party vendors to see the project through from concept to completion.
In total, the project consisted of eight murals, a wood installation and signage for reception, wayfinding system and signage for three floors, conference room window film, as well as wallpaper and art selection.

Privacy Film for Conference Rooms
Designing glass film for the conference rooms was a unique challenge because it had to provide a balance of privacy for security and to reduce distraction, and visibility in order to see if the room was occupied. To solve for this, I created an on-brand geometric pattern in two opacities.
Company Values Murals
I designed bold typographic murals for each of BigCommerce’s company values: Think Big, Act With Integrity, Customers First, Make a Difference Every Day, and Team on a Mission. Each one was meticulously hand-painted by local sign painter, Andrew Manning.
